Today our year 4's had a visit from Noe from Comvita. They had great fun learning about bees and honey. This visit was won for some of the great Garden to Table mahi of the team. Tino pai!

Dear whānau, parents & caregivers, We know our students are amazing, so we’re giving them the opportunity to showcase and celebrate their talents in the world-renowned ICAS competition this year. What is ICAS? ICAS is an online academic competition that gives students the opportunity to challenge their higher order thinking and problem-solving skills in English, Mathematics, Science, Writing, Spelling Bee, and Digital Technologies. Every student who participates is celebrated and recognised with a printed certificate in each subject area, and an online results report to track development each year. Mōrena koutou whānau:) Welcome to Wiki 9! This morning at our MMM it was jam packed celebrating amazing ākonga 'soaring high' across our kura. Congratulations to all our Bookmark award winners - reaching for the stars and growing their manawa, whakaaro & kete! Ka mau te wehi! Topping the classes for Wednesday Challenge was Room 5! Miharo koutou - 100% actively travelling to school last Wednesday! With two more weeks to go which classes will come out on top at the end of term? And finally, we gave a huge thank you to all our sponsors and especially acknowledged Mrs Smith, Mrs Taylor and our wonderful STAR committee for all the hard work behind the scenes to create and run our first SRP colour run. To conclude we had the much awaited final prize draw following our colour run fundraising. Overall top class was Room 10! And overall top team was team Toroa! Kia ora, These glasses were found at the Holmburn street drop off area and handed in at the office. They are kids size and we’ve tried to find who they might belong to but with out success. I’d you think they are your tamariki, send them to the office to collect. Thanks
